The Studio
The work is personal before it is anything else.
FLORENTIAS is a small, independent studio working in a figurative, narrative tradition — shadow, stillness, and the quiet drama of ordinary life. The pieces are not decoration first. Some come from love, some from illness, some from a single evening I never managed to forget.
I work under a pen name. I'd rather the work carried itself than have it read through a biography, so what matters here is on the wall, not the signature. Every piece on this site began as one image I couldn't let go of, and each story you read beside a work is the true reason it exists.
What you actually receive
The originals are not for sale. Instead, each work is offered as an open-edition archival giclée print on canvas, framed in white pine and ready to hang. One size — 32 × 24 inches (landscape). Giclée is a fine-art printing process that holds depth and color for decades on a wall rather than fading.
Because I keep the editions open rather than numbered, the work stays affordable and the point stays where it should be — on the image and the story, not on artificial scarcity. Every order is made to order, checked before it ships, and arrives with a signed certificate of authenticity confirming it as an authorized FLORENTIAS print.
