- What exactly am I buying — a print or an original?
- An open-edition archival giclée print, not an original. Each one is printed to order on canvas, framed in white pine and ready to hang, and measures 32 × 24 inches (landscape). Every order includes a signed certificate of authenticity. The original works are not for sale.
- What size and material are the prints?
- One size: 32 × 24 inches (about 81 × 61 cm), landscape orientation. Each is an archival giclée print on canvas — giclée is a fine-art printing process that holds depth and color for decades on a wall rather than fading — and it arrives framed in a white pine frame.
- Are the prints framed and ready to hang?
- Yes. Each canvas comes framed in white pine and ready to hang straight out of the box — no extra framing, glass, or hardware to buy.
- What is the certificate of authenticity?
- Every order includes a signed certificate of authenticity: a card that names the work, confirms it as an authorized FLORENTIAS open-edition giclée print, and carries my signature. It certifies that your print is an official release from the studio — it does not claim the print is a one-of-a-kind original.
- Is this a limited or open edition?
- Open edition. I don't cap or number the run. That keeps the price fair and means the piece is about the image and the story, not artificial scarcity.
- How long until my print arrives?
- Each print is made to order, so allow about 5–7 business days for production, plus shipping transit time. Nothing sits in a warehouse — your piece is produced and checked specifically for your order before it ships.
- Where do you ship?
- I currently ship within the United States at one simple flat rate, calculated at checkout. International shipping isn't available yet but is planned — if you're outside the US and want a piece, email hello@florentias.com and I'll let you know when I can reach you.
- What's your return policy?
- Because every print is made to order, I don't accept change-of-mind returns. But if your piece arrives damaged or defective, I'll make it right — email hello@florentias.com within 14 days with a photo, and I'll send a free replacement or a refund.
- What kind of art is this — what's the style?
- Dark, narrative figurative work: solitary figures in moody, old-masters-style scenes, plus a few surreal, symbolic pieces. If you're drawn to dark-academia interiors, melancholy portraits, or art that tells a story, this is that lane — sold as framed canvas prints.
- Which rooms suit these prints best?
